Required Duties:

Hiring conditional to availability for attending the pre-lab orientation meeting on Friday, January 10th 2020 and the weekly Friday meetings (time TBD) in N4/2.

- Lead 1 six-hour lab per week

- Prepare pre-lab talk in rotation with 3 other demonstrators

- Hold tutorial in rotation with 3 other demonstrators

- Grade 14 lab notebooks each week

- Grade project reports and associated lab assignments

- Attend pre-lab orientation/1st meeting (2 hrs) on Friday January 10th  2020 (time TBD)  in N4/2

- Attend weekly TA meetings in N4/2 (2 hrs/week including training [experimental and teaching]) and weekly lecture: every Friday  (January 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 14, 21, 28 Mar 13, 20, 27, Apr 3rd 2020) (time TBD) 

Qualifications Required:

- Preference for PhD Students (or 2nd year MSc.)

- Undergraduate degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology or other related field

- Theoretical and lab experience in molecular cellular biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics and fluorescent microscopy

- Must have completed WHMIS training within the past 3 years
