Required Duties:

 

Coordinate and deliver FRezCa tutorial sessions. This involves receiving suggested tutorial problems from Section 1 and Section 2 Instructors on a weekly basis, posting the Section 1 and Section 2 weekly FRezCa problem sets on the MyCourses course website, being present at FRezCa tutorial sessions to assist students working on the problems, managing the FRezCa "hardware" (T-shirts and table cards), and overseeing undergraduate TEAM mentors who will assist in tutorial delivery. FrezCa sessions are two hours duration (10 and - noon in 2017) held twice weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2017) during the term. One additional session is held during the final exam period as a course content review session. Participation in monitoring mid-term exam viewing session. Participate in start-of-term and end-of-term teaching team meetings.

 

Qualifications Required:

Comprehensive understanding of molecular biology. This should be a graduate student working on a molecular biology project and who has previously done well in BIOL 200 or equivalent.

 

 

Language requirements (if relevant): English fluency.
