FRSQ (Fonds de la Recherche en santé) - USRA (Undergraduate Research Award) 2010
The FRSQ USRA is a summer program designed to stimulate an interest in research on the part of students enrolled in a university undergraduate program, in medicine or another health science, by offering them a summer study program carried out in a laboratory environment.
If you have any doubts as to what constitutes health science or health services (health geography? medical physics? etc.) I would suggest you contact Ms Erin Grainger in the Fellowships Office for clarification, rather than assuming the programme is not for you / your students. Her contact information is at the bottom of this message.
Please refer to the link below for the McGill webpage for students; more details about the programme can be found on the FRSQ webpage.
Application & Deadline
- Information and Forms, posted at: http://www.mcgill.ca/gps/students/fellowships/applying/frsq-usra/
- Deadline for applications is Feb 15. Applications should be brought to Susan Gabe in W4/15. Official transcripts required as well.
- Applicants should be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be in U2 or U3 with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (although 3.7 is the minimum of students actually awarded in the past).
- Supervisors needn’t have an FRSQ grant but be doing research in an FRSQ fundable field.
