  • Congratulations to Daneck Lang-Ouelette who was awarded an NSERC Doctoral Fellowship! Daneck also recently passed his Qualifying Exam, so he’s clearly on a roll. Way to go, Daneck!


  • Congratulations to Jeanette Hui, who won Best Poster Presentation in the McGill Biology Undergraduate Poster Fair on March 15 2017!

  • Summer 2017 is going to be fun in the Watt lab! Jeanette Hui and Neil Recio have been awarded NSERC URSAs to work in the lab! Mohini Bhade and Sasha Mcdowell have been awarded SURAs to work in the lab. Last but not least, Marco Silva Camarena has been awarded a MITACS Globalink Summer research award and will be joining us all the way from Mexico! Congratulations to all!

  • Alanna and Lu-Yang Wang’s parallel symposium proposal, “Emerging roles of the cerebellum in shaping brain development and disease" has been accepted for the CAN 2017 meeting! Tentatively scheduled for Tuesday May 30th. Click HERE for program.

  • The Watt lab is planning a Charity Run! Join us to raise money for the ARSACS foundation on the weekend of April 22/23, 2017 in Parc Jean Drapeau.
