The Bellini building is located between the Stewart's North Wing and the McIntyre Medical Building.

The building is divided into three main wings: North, West and South.
There are two chief entrances to the building: The entrance facing Dr. Penfield Avenue opens into the foyer of the South block where the main lecture theaters and Phytotron facility are located.
Entry into the West and North wings is from the terrace (behind the south block) and is onto the 2nd floor of the building. There is also an entrance situated behind the building, facing the McIntyre Medical Building, on Promenade Sir William Osler.

There is a directory board on each floor near the main elevators in the foyers between the north and west wings, which indicates the location of specific offices, labs, etc. In addition a building directory is held in the Building Porter's office at the entry to the west and north wings. Room numbers are designated by wing, floor and room, e.g. N4/2 is the second room on the 4th floor of the north wing. The Biology department occupies part of the 2nd, the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th floor while the Psychology Department resides in the 7th, 8th and in the south block.
