| Software upgrade |
When necessary, Volocity and Openlab are upgraded on all CIAN computers (workstations and microscope computers). This allows consistency of versions, ensures compatibility and reduces risks of data corruption within the whole facility.
A similar consistency and compatibility can be guaranteed to the users only if their versions are also upgraded. Our systems administrator, Scott Bunnell will be happy to perform these upgrades on your systems. Please, contact us for more information on this service.
Otherwise, users can choose to upgrade by themselves, but in this case, we cannot guarantee the version consistency and compatibility between their machines and our platform. |
