The Biology Department has two computational clusters available for staff and students:
- a PPC Cluster, which comprises 28 Apple dual-processor 2.3-GHz G5 Xserves (19 with 4GB of RAM and 9 with 8GB of RAM)
- an Intel Cluster, which comprises 5 Apple dual quad-core 2.8-GHz Harpertown Xserves (all with 16GB of RAM).
