What we do

The Cell Imaging and Analysis Network (CIAN) is a resource for DBRI researchers, their collaborators and the McGill research community. CIAN encompasses confocal microscopy, live cell imaging, high-throughput imaging and cell-based screens, difference gel electrophoresis (DiGE) and allied fluorescent protein, microarray and real time PCR and a unified platform for data storage and analysis.

DBRI researchers can obtain training in any aspect of CIAN and are encouraged to work autonomously.

Researchers outside the DBRI community are welcome to submit proposals for CIAN projects.

CIAN is therefore designed to facilitate training, enhance interactions, and share resources and expertise.
